Jérôme Joseph, who graduated from EHL, worked during more than twelve years in international hotel and catering trade. A great number of business meetings he held abroad with professionals every year secured him the experience of a close relationship with the consumer community and gave him the professional background required in order to understand the characteristics and evolutions of marketing.
Consumer modes in wines vary with the markets. This is why we attach importance to the presentation of our products which has meet our customers' expectations.
Of course we propose pre marketed wines which have often been prepared in private wine cellars by our wine farmers : these products are the expression of a wine farmer's Domaine or Château. But we also propose to study wine ranges adapted to our customers' job specifications : these are our tailor made wines.

The knowledge of an environment and a technical experience in wine making
With more than thirteen years of experience in Languedoc Roussillon, Stephane Queralt is our oenologist advisor bringing a wide range of competency. He is at the head of a professional group whose concern is to help our producers and meet their daily requirements.
Our help can be, depending on the farmer, either partial or total but we always aim at :
- Supervising the constant evolution of the quality of our products in order to please our customers.
- Adapting our products to the requirements of national and international markets.
Our possibilities of help are many because a wine farm will develop and improve production when taking into consideration a great number of criteria :
- Vineyard :
Grape growing, dressing of the plant, weeding, grape gathering time, analyses, maturing & ageing, blending, bottling ...
- Œnology :
While vinification, maturing and ageing take place, technological decisions have to be made in order to elaborate the wines we are looking for.
- Financial analysis. Feasibility study.
- Company strategy.
- Starting a project, development of the activity, restructuring.
- The follow up of costs, investment plan, financing plan.
Our method of work enables us not only to have preferential relations with our producers but also to guarantee our customers a constant and growing quality from one year to the next.
After studies in viticulture and oenology, L. Calmel started his career in Languedoc, en Provence and the Rhone Valley. His eagerness to satisfy his curiosity in vine growing brought him to the US then to Moldavia, Chile and Australia. He came back to Languedoc and Spain after all these experiences which made it possible for many Domaine to get rewards in various prestigious guides : Parker, Wine Spectator, Hachette guide, Gold Medal in Macon, best Chardonnay in the world.
In 2007, Laurent Calmel joins JJoseph's fifteen years old trading company specialized in the Languedoc Roussillon wines coming from Private cellars. Both of them decide to take up a new challenge: vinifying in the most natural way a range of great Languedoc Roussillon wines on hardly known appellations from a strict selection of parcels cultivated organically. This desire to prove the exceptional quality of these soils also relies on a complete transparency of the wines. Far from any certification, our cultural methods and vinification are widely described in blog and website.
